SUMMARY:

Are you a Finance leader who thrives where speed, scale, and precision meet? A major player in the retail and FMCG industry is expanding its leadership team and is seeking three highly experienced Retail Finance Managers to oversee finance across a national footprint of 300+ stores.

POSITION INFO:

This is a high-impact role where your work will directly influence profitability, operational efficiency, and executive-level decision-making. If you’re a seasoned finance professional who loves operational complexity, thrives in high-volume environments, and knows the retail world inside-out; this is your next step.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full operational finance function for a large, multi-store retail environment.
Partner with senior executives and provide financial insight that drives national performance.
Manage financial governance and controls across 300+ stores.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and commercial analysis.
Ensure compliance, reporting accuracy, and alignment to JSE-listed requirements.
Deliver clear, actionable financial reporting packs and strategic insights.
Support executive leadership with high-level planning and performance tracking.
Manage finance teams, strengthen processes, and drive continuous operational improvement.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

CA(SA) or a relevant Finance Degree (essential).
Minimum 8+ years’ experience in a senior finance role.
Strong background in retail or FMCG (non-negotiable).
Experience working within JSE-listed environments.
Proven exposure to executive-level stakeholders and board-level reporting.
Deep operational finance experience in a high-volume, multi-site environment.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence business outcomes.
Advanced Excel and excellent analytical ability.
Confident leader with the ability to manage large teams and drive results.
