SUMMARY:
Our client who has a global footprint is seeking a Regional Logistics Manager to be based in their Johannesburg operation.

POSITION INFO:

. Reporting to the Group Logistics Manager your role is to lead the logistics team towards meeting national strategic objectives and targets through regular communication and strategic guidance. Manage the overall logistics and resources, both inbound and outbound and drive the implementation and improvements in operating processes and systems to optimise warehouse and transport efficiencies. You will be required to travel nationally regularly and this includes long distances by car and away from home.

Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Commerce or equivalent would be advantageous
Min 5 to 8 years of Logistics Management experience in an FMCG environment is required
Minimum 3 to 4 years at a management level
Demonstrated people leadership and competency to manage a widely spread staff compliment
