JOB SUMMARY:
Sales manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Synopsis

Oversee the effectiveness and management of broker and field division by ensuring that recurring, single premium and group scheme target are achieved.

Grow the Value of New Business

Implement and maintain sales strategic plan, to ensure that department meets its set targets
Maintain a minimum inforce book growth of 1% a month
Monitoring of average premium performance
Management of expenses and derive expense efficiencies
Monitoring of withdrawal performance
Monitoring of collection persistency
Oversee the Regional management of business retention

Distribution Management

Management of distribution channel in line with National strategic objectives;
Effective management of resources
Perform opportunity assessments and monitor market share and growth
Develop a plan to penetrate markets and diversify Products as per set target
Drive and maintain Regional stakeholder Relationships. Maintain client relationship

Efficiency Management

Compile and Manage Regional Budget

Develop and maintain Regional distribution

Oversee the Regulatory requirements

Manage the Market Conduct requirement

Sales Administration and Reporting obligations

Requirements

FSCA recognised Degree
Regulatory Examination Level 5: Representatives (Essential)
Regulatory Examination Level 1: Key Individuals (Essential)
120 credits on NQF level 5 (Essential)
CPD (Essential)
COB (Essential)

Experience:

8-10 years relevant Management experience
5 years Financial services experience
