SUMMARY:
Our client in the Automotive Industry has an opportunity available for a Regional Manager - Western/Eastern Cape to be based in the Cape Town area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree / diploma in Engineering or business studies
8 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years’ experience in managing a direct sales force (5 people or more).
8 years of branch management experience, with at least 5 years’ experience in managing a branch / admin staff (25 people or more).
Competent Computer skills – Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Outlook (Email)
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plans
Exceptional negotiation skills
Ability to travel within South Africa and immediate bordering countries
Valid driver’s license
Must be fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans)

KPAs:

Create and implement effective direct sales strategies and lead direct sales personnel toward achievement of corporate sales objectives
Provide sales management, budget control, compensation programs and incentive planning
Manage to meet / exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports
Maintain competitive market intelligence and knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies
Attend to regular sales meetings with relevant sales staff. Also attend meetings, seminars, and conferences as appropriate
Travel within the region to visit key customers
