Regional Sales Manager – Ceramics

POSITION INFO:
Job Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead sales operations and business growth in the ceramics sector (tiles, sanitaryware, tableware, or industrial ceramics). The role requires a proactive leader with strong sales and team management skills, able to grow market share, increase revenue, and build strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement sales strategies in line with company goals.
· Lead and manage the regional sales team to meet targets and KPIs.
· Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.
· Maintain and grow relationships with clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
· Research market trends, customer needs, competitors, and pricing.
· Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
· Work with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams.
· Provide training and technical support to sales staff and clients.
· Ensure customer satisfaction and excellent after-sales service.
· Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
· 5–7 years of sales experience, with 3+ years in a managerial or regional role.
· Experience in ceramics and building materials.
· Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
· Good knowledge of regional markets and distribution networks.
· Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and sales reporting tools.
· Willingness to travel extensively.
· The ideal candidate must have prior work experience with one or more of the top ten ceramic companies in South Africa
