POSITION INFO:
Are you a seasoned sales leader who thrives in high-performance environments? Our client, a respected name in the construction materials sector, is seeking a driven and strategic Regional Sales Manager to lead their sales operations across KwaZulu-Natal. This role is key to achieving revenue targets, managing key customer relationships, and guiding a small team across the general construction market.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

â Minimum 5 years’ experience in a construction/specifications environment
â At least 3 years in a sales management role
â Proven people management, coaching, and performance development abilities
â Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally
â Strong business acumen with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically

Job Experience & Skills Required:

ð§ Experience in waterproofing, concrete repair, and/or flooring products
ð ï¸ Ability to identify new customer segments and unlock fresh revenue streams
ð Proficiency in SAP, CRM, and Excel; exposure to Qlikview is advantageous
ð¬ Strong communication and negotiation skills across various management levels
ð§ Independent, strategic thinker with a passion for building relationships and mentoring teams
ð Knowledge of the construction and technical product supply chain in South Africa

As the Regional Sales Manager, you’ll oversee a lean team of 2–4 sales professionals, manage the region’s sales budget, and play a key part in customer retention, team development, and market expansion. You’ll be expected to collaborate across internal departments, contribute to strategic planning, and elevate the company's brand and product offering across a competitive market.
