JOB SUMMARY:

A well-established Agricultural company is seeking the above to manage routine activities with the aim to maintain regulatory compliance of the Bio-solutions product portfolio by working in partnership with the Bio-solutions Project Lead on new project developments and to ensure that all regulatory requirements are fully achieved to complement biological development in accordance with submission timelines

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a BSc degree in Crop, Microbiology or Chemical sciences (Hons/MSc will be preferred)
GHS labelling (UNITAR), BASOS and Crop Life basic crop protection certificate will be required
2-3 years’ experience in a science-based environment is essential
Experience in Project Management or team supervision would be an advantage
Working knowledge of registration requirements for Bio products and Fertilizers is important
Must be detail orientated and analytical to meet the high level of accuracy required for regulatory compliance
Good sense of time-management and prioritization skills to support diverse projects running in parallel is important for this role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Liaising with the Project Lead and Product Manager to provide guidance on regulatory requirements and associated costs in submission of new business cases.
Ensuring that suppliers of formulations and active ingredient can meet the needs of ZA regulatory requirements.
Liaising with Formulation Development for in-house product development.
Preparing all relevant regulatory data in support of new submissions.
Scheduling and managing portfolio related product renewals on an annual basis.
Compiling SDSs for new products and maintaining updates for existing products.
Maintaining all regulatory databases related to portfolio products.
Drafting and maintaining GHS compliant labels for new product registration submissions as well as for amendments to existing products.
Liaising with the Label Administrator in Supply Chain on printing of labels for new registered products.
Requesting and updating tradenames and trademarks related to portfolio products.
Ensuring that all contracts and agreements are issued and maintained for portfolio product registrations.

Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience
