TES Scope Of Work Background The Relibiability Engineer role is based in Germiston, Sasol Gas Pipeline & Operational Support. The pipeline passes through various geographical regions such as Mozambique, Nelspruit, Gauteng and KZN. There is one compressor station based in Komatipoort with multiple pressure reducing stations and customer metering stations throughout the various regions. Experience RBI Experience implementing and facilitating RBI programmes in accordance with industry practices. Experience defining and establishing RBI assessment boundaries for equipment systems, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pipelines, and associated infrastructure. Proven ability to collect, validate, clean and manage asset data required for RBI assessments. Experience populating and maintaining RBI databases and software systems. Practical experience facilitating multidisciplinary RBI reviews involving Inspection, Operations, Maintenance, Process Engineering, and Integrity personnel. Working knowledge and practical application of PCMS and\/or PIMSlider RBI software. Experience developing and updating RBI procedures, work instructions, and governance documentation. Experience conducting field verification activities and site inspections to validate asset data. Sound understanding of damage mechanisms, degradation processes, consequence assessment, probability of failure, and risk ranking methodologies. EMS Experience facilitating and developing Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEA) for static and rotating equipment. Experience identifying functional failures, failure modes, failure effects, and appropriate maintenance tasks. Experience translating maintenance strategy requirements into maintenance plans and task lists\/sheets. Experience reviewing and optimizing maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and reduce lifecycle costs. Ability to work with Operations, Maintenance, Inspection, and Engineering teams to develop maintenance strategies. Experience developing and updating EMS procedures, work instructions, and governance documentation. SAP Experience Proficiency in SAP PM including: o Functional Locations o Equipment Masters o Maintenance Plans o Task Lists o Notifications o Work Orders o Equipment History Analysis Experience extracting, analysing, and validating maintenance and reliability data from SAP. Deliverables Risk Based Inspections (RBI) Facilitate the implementation of an RBI programme Identify and define RBI boundaries for applicable equipment\/systems Collect, validate, capture equipment data in selected RBI software Facilitate RBI review sessions using PCMS\/PIMSlider Develop RBI procedures & work instructions Site visit support for field verification (where required) Track implementation in relevant systems Equipment Maintenance Strategies (EMS) Facilitate and develop FMEAs Develop EMS procedures & work instructions Track implementation in relevant systems General Stakeholder management Years of experience 8 years + Qualifications BSc\/BEng\/BTech Mechanical Relevant training or certifications in RBI, FMEA, RCM, Asset management or Reliability Engineering would be advantageous Additional requirements Reside in Gauteng Valid driver's licence Permanent\/Temporary Temporary Duration of employment 3 months (extendable if required)
