Reporting Accountant

POSITION INFO:
Duties:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Contribute to group reporting processes, including consolidations and reporting pack submissions.
- Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements in line with applicable standards.
- Support tax reporting requirements, including current and deferred tax calculations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Liaise with auditors and assist during audit processes.
- Collaborate with finance teams across divisions to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.
- Identify and implement improvements in reporting processes and controls.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
- BCom Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Completed SAICA Articles.
- 2–4 years’ experience in a reporting-focused role.
- Exposure to group reporting and consolidations is essential.
- Experience with tax reporting (including deferred tax) is advantageous.
- Industry exposure within IT, Industrial, or Property sectors preferred.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
