Duties: Preparing monthly management reports and providing meaningful analysis and commentary. Performing variance analysis against budgets, forecasts and prior periods. Identifying trends, anomalies and key business drivers to support decision-making. Supporting executive and management reporting with insightful analysis. Building and maintaining sophisticated Excel models and reporting frameworks. Developing and enhancing dashboards and visual reporting solutions using Power BI and related tools. Introducing automation and AI-driven solutions to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy. Performing ad hoc analysis, scenario modelling and business case evaluations. Supporting process improvements and reporting standardisation initiatives. Collaborating with finance and non-finance stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom, BCompt or equivalent finance degree. Honours Degree CA(SA) Power BI certifications Experience: 3-7 years' experience in commercial accounting, management reporting, and financial analysis. Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, structured workbooks, and data modelling. Strong SQL capabilities with experience working with large and complex data sets. Proven experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and visual reporting solutions. Sound understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Exposure to AI tools, automation platforms, or Copilot Studio would be advantageous. Experience driving process improvements and participating in reporting transformation initiatives.
