An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Reporting Accountant to join a dynamic finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

POSITION INFO:
We are looking for a finance professional who can hit the ground running and provide immediate support across management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This role is best suited to someone who is available immediately or on short notice and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Duties: Prepare monthly management accounts, board packs, and financial reports. Produce annual budgets and rolling forecasts. Ensure financial reporting complies with IFRS and group accounting policies. Assist with group reporting submissions using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM). Analyse financial results, investigate variances, and provide insightful commentary. Respond to management and group finance queries. Support the year-end reporting process and external audit requirements. Drive continuous improvements to reporting processes and efficiencies. Stay up to date with changes in IFRS and financial reporting standards. Assist with ad hoc finance projects as required. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom in Accounting or a related field. BCom Honours \/ CTA CA(SA) Experience: Completed SAICA Articles. Qualified CA(SA) with approximately 2 years' post-articles experience; or BCom Accounting qualification with relevant financial reporting and management accounting experience. Experience within the manufacturing, media, or entertainment industry will be advantageous. Strong financial reporting and management reporting experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential. Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Syspro will be advantageous. Skills & Competencies: Strong technical accounting and IFRS knowledge. Excellent analytical and financial interpretation skills. A commercial mindset with sound business acumen. Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
