POSITION INFO:

Our client concerned within the insurance industry who has been triumphant in their operations for more than quarter of a century, is currently seeking to recruit a finance professional to take on the available role of the Reporting Accountant. This blue-chip company has become an employer of choice and wants successful incumbent must be a high achiever who will be responsible for but not limited to the full finance function, including IFRS 17, presentations as well as get technically involved. Duties:

Preparation of the monthly management reports
Data Analysis
Full Finance Function
Prepare submissions for forecasting and budgeting
Systems implementation
Managing the corporate month end accounting process
Communicate and manage reporting deadlines.

Qualification and Experience:

Completed Bcom Degree
SAICA articles
2 – 4 years post articles experience
Must come from the insurance industry.

Skills:

Advanced Excel Knowledge
IFRS 17
