A reputable JSE listed entity focusing on logistics is looking for a dynamic and experienced CA(SA) to joint their finance team as a Reporting Accountant.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Reporting Accountant will be responsible for reviewing and uploading Hyperion packed, processing intercompany loan accounts, and drafting annual financial statements. The Reporting Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the CAPEX and lease registers, liaising with the auditors, and reconciling and compiling the monthly debtors report. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing balance sheet reconciliations and analyzing and reviewing financial information.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• CA (SA)
• Big 4 audit exposure is advantageous

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• At least 3-4 years post article experience in a similar role
• Experience working in a listed entity
• Working knowledge of IFRS 16
• Working knowledge of performing complex consolidations
• Working knowledge of reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Hyperion is preferred
• Be willing to travel occasionally
• Ability to perform financial, statistical, and technical analyses
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
