JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:
Reporting to the Financial Manager
Prepare weekly operational financial results reports
Prepare weekly stock transfer reports to resolve discrepancies
Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for directors and shareholders meetings
Annual Audit preparations
Assist in any SARS and related audits
Assist with stock take procedures and analysing results
Streamline and automate various financial reports
Various reporting from BI portals
Various projects including Insurance policy updates, Tax box reports
Fixed assets registers to clean up and link to new systems
Assistance with possible new POS system to implementation
STATS SA submissions
Assist with meeting finance deadlines
Assist with Cash Flow forecasting and schedules
Assist with budget preparations and importing into accounting system
Assist with drafting the annual financial statements and supporting schedules
Assist with all taxation calculations (Income, Provisional & Deferred) and submissions to SARS
Assist with developing business processes and internal controls to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Ensure quality control & integrity of all financial transactions, compliance, and financial reporting
Assist with streamlining / automating systems and procedures
Assist with any on the job training for any staff in the department when needed
Any ad hoc duties and projects in Finance Department on daily / weekly / monthly / yearly basis

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 + years post article experience in a similar role
Advanced Excel skills are non-negotiable
BI reporting beneficial
Excellent Financial Technical knowledge

Qualification:
Bcom or similar qualification
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
