Local, natural A-beauty skin care collection that uses best-in-class non-toxic ingredients in scientifically formulated combinations are currently seeking a talented and innovative Head Chemist to lead their Skincare Development & Innovation.

Are you looking to be a technical, problem-solving head chemist who wants to deliver new and innovative products related to consumers skincare routines in Africa & across the globe?

Do you have a passion and strong interest in products aimed at skin on the Fitzpatrick Scale 4-6?

The role:

• They are currently seeking a talented and innovative Head Chemist to lead their Skincare Development & Innovation.
• You will join a team that is responsible for thinking out of the box and developing innovative skincare aimed at A-beauty using challenging actives and cutting-edge science.
• The team maintains very close relationships with all departments within the business and with many experts in safety, regulatory and scientific platforms.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of progressive experience in the Cosmetic Manufacturing industry
• Experience in formulation and/or creation of skin care for Fitzpatrick Skin 4-6 and personal care products are preferred
• Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field, and/or Diploma in Cosmetic Science (Society of Cosmetic Chemist South Africa)
