SUMMARY:
A leading engineering and technology-driven organisation is seeking a Research and Development Engineer to join its innovative and forward-thinking team. This role is ideal for a mechanically minded Engineer with a passion for product development, innovation, and continuous improvement.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop and test new mechanical products, systems, or components
Conduct research to support innovation, cost reduction, and performance improvement initiatives
Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and design documentation
Build prototypes and oversee testing, validation, and refinement processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and project management
Ensure that designs comply with the relevant engineering standards and regulations
Support the transition of designs from R&D to production

Minimum Requirements:

BEng in Mechanical Engineering (essential)
2–5 years’ experience in a research, design, or product development environment
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and materials
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and innovation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
