JOB DESCRIPTION:

Main purpose of the job:

To undertake and support health policy and legal research on diet-related NCD Prevention

Location:

School of Public Health, Parktown, Johannesburg

Key performance areas:

To provide research support for Priceless projects
Experience with planning and working on grants
Identify funding opportunities
Assist with grant and report writing
Conduct literature reviews, background research, weekly news, and publications round-up on developments related to NIH
Participate in internal and external networks, workshops, and collaborative partnerships, representing PRICELESS
Provide other research office support to the project leads

Required minimum education and training:

LLB and Master's degree in Law

Required minimum work experience:

2 years of work experience (not sector-specific)

Desirable additional education, work experience, and personal abilities:

Experience in legal research, public health law, or related field is desirable but not required
Track record in research and publications will be advantageous
Demonstrated interest in public health and NCD research will be highly advantageous
