Responsible Pharmacist

SUMMARY:
DBN000093 – Responsible Pharmacist (Distribution & Warehousing) – Durban North
 
Purpose of the Job:
To ensure compliance with regulations and maintaining the integrity of medication distribution.
 
Required Qualifications

1. PharmD degree or equivalent
2. Must be a registered pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
3. Distribution/Warehousing Industry experience – Not negotiable

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience:

1. To be able to handle a medicines recall according to correct procedure and to assist product license holders with their product recalls.
2. To ensure that goods returned are handled in a procedurally correct manner
3. To ensure that all employees are conversant with the system laid down for using and following the Standard Operating Procedures.

1. Maintain a Quality Management System (QMS)

1. To ensure that all product complaints are investigated and identified
2. To ensure registration of RP and company with the SAPC, License with DOH & MCC license (Section 22C (1) (b) of Act 101 of 1965).
3. Take corrective measures in respect of deficiencies with regard to inspection reports of council or in terms of the Medicines Control Act

1. To approve and sign off all advertising material and to ensure that the material is legal.
