Restaurant General Manager

SUMMARY:
Restaurant located on vibrant Main Street in Plettenberg Bay, a culinary haven that beautifully complements the stunning backdrop of the Garden Route is currently recruiting for a Restaurant General Manager.
 
The restaurant is more than a place to dine; it’s a storytelling experience where each meal weaves together local flavours and history.  The Restaurant brings a fresh and passionate approach to dining, offering a taste of Plettenberg Bay’s essence in every dish.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Taking full responsibility for all daily operations
Ensure smooth running of front of house and back of house operations
Supervision of staff
Ensure hygiene, maintenance, health and safety requirements are met
Beverage cost, food cost and stock control are within specified range
Hiring and training of staff
Be on shift on busy days, weekends and all functions.

Requirements:

Grade 12
Diploma or higher qualifications
At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in commercial / high end restaurants
Physically fit
