JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client in Paarl currently has an exciting full-time vacancy for a dynamic Restaurant Manager with drive and energy, who will be part of their Restaurant management team.

Ideal person specifications:

Diploma in Hospitality Management

Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Junior Restaurant Manager or similar role

Computer literacy (MS Word and MS Excel)

Excellent communication skills (English & Afrikaans)

Excellent organizational skills

Able to multitask and work under pressure

Responsibilities:

Ensure that the production, preparation & presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times

Apply to the restaurant policies and procures for health and safety

Handling customer enquiries and complaints

Have product knowledge (i.e menus & wines)

Supervise day to day restaurant cash-ups

Assistance in staff rostering in such a way which will impact the success of service demand

Lead and motivate restaurant staff which will impact the success of the Restaurant

Salary: R15 000 - R17 000
