POSITION INFO:
RETAIL BANKING & TENDER RECONCILIATION CONTROLLER Salary: R20 000 Negotiable We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Retail Banking & Tender Reconciliation Controller to join our Finance team. Key Responsibilities: Reconcile daily retail store cash-ups and banking transactions. Verify multiple tender types including cash, cards, EFTs, vouchers and alternative payment methods. Investigate and resolve cash-up variances and banking discrepancies. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation reports. Maintain accurate audit trails and financial records. Support month-end processes and ensure compliance with internal controls and finance procedures. Liaise with store teams to resolve exceptions and provide support on financial processes. Minimum Requirements: Matric (Grade 12). Finance, Accounting or Bookkeeping qualification advantageous. 2–5 years' experience in retail finance, cashbook or reconciliation roles. Experience with POS systems and banking reconciliations. Strong numerical ability and attention to detail. Excellent Excel, analytical and problem-solving skills.
