Retail Regional Manager (Pharmacy)

Cape Town

POSITION INFO:

Our client within the Pharma industry, has an exciting new position available for a Regional Manager.  You will be based in Cape Town and required to travel throughout the country.
The purpose of this role is to maximize profitability and sustainable development of the retail operation and creating optimal environment through:

Meeting and exceeding customer expectations
Supporting, monitoring, co ordinating and managing the work done by front-shop staff
Operationalizing tactical plans for maintaining and improving retail practices and systems used
Knowledge and Skills:
Sound understanding of basic financial (GP, growth) principles / Retail Business / Merchandising standards and principles
Business problem solving skills / Project management skills / Customer relations skills
People management (including IR) Essential
Exceptional communication skills
Ideal candidate must have extensive front shop experience within “Pharmacy”.
Retail Management Degree or diploma (Essential)
Min 5 – 7 Years’ experience as Retail Branch manager (Essential)
Valid EB Drivers
Duties will include but not limited to:
People management / Branch Management
Increase profitability / Reporting thereof
Regional Customer satisfaction / Regional Risk management and compliance assurance
