Take Ownership of the Billing Function & Drive Accuracy, Analysis and Revenue Performance

POSITION INFO:
My client is seeking an experienced and analytical Revenue Analyst to oversee and support the Connectivity billing function across the group. This is a key role responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing, managing escalations, analysing billing data, overseeing contracts and supplier relationships, and supporting the successful delivery of Connectivity projects. The ideal candidate will have strong billing and revenue management experience, with the ability to interrogate data, identify discrepancies, manage complex billing processes and provide meaningful insights to management. This role is based in Bryanston, Johannesburg North. Key Responsibilities: Billing Management: Oversee the Connectivity billing function across the group. Ensure accurate and timeous completion of monthly billing. Resolve billing queries, discrepancies and escalations. Ensure pricing, VAT, discounts and other billing information are accurate. Process invoice corrections, credits and refunds. Manage debit orders, refunds and credit payments. Maintain supplier invoice summaries. Monitor cancellations and collections. Cross-check ISP billing, commissions, annuities and rebates. Manage franchise rebates and ad-hoc billing requirements. Manage Microsoft and IT SLA billing. Conduct cross-analysis of IT billing. Billing Processing & Monthly Close: Prepare and submit Connectivity commissions within required deadlines. Ensure billing and debit order processes are completed accurately. Monitor monthly billing activities and cut-off dates. Proactively follow up on outstanding information that could delay billing. Billing Analysis & Reporting: Analyse billing data and identify trends, variances and discrepancies. Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and revenue performance. Prepare detailed billing analysis and management reports. Provide insights to support informed business decision-making. Monitor billing information and initiate corrective action where required. Connectivity Projects & Administration: Monitor Connectivity projects, team activities and shared mailboxes. Review and sign off subscriber application forms. Ensure applications and project information are processed and distributed within required timelines. Attend project meetings with ISPs. Support and manage the rollout of Connectivity-related projects. Maintain accurate customer databases and records. Complete relevant departmental administration. ISP & Contract Management: Act as a key escalation point for sales, customer and ISP billing queries. Manage special pricing negotiations with ISPs when required. Oversee the opening and closing of contracts. Approve temporary billing solutions where necessary. Pricing & Sales Support: Complete monthly pricing calculations and updates for the sales team. Calculate and process sales commissions. Support the sales function with billing-related queries. Maintain accurate pricing and billing information. Team Oversight: Oversee the billing team and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time. Monitor adherence to company processes, controls and billing deadlines. Provide guidance and support to team members. Assist with leave approvals, recruitment, disciplinary matters and training administration. Job Experience and Skills Required: Matric \/ Grade 12 - Essential Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related field will be advantageous. 5+ years' experience in billing, finance, revenue administration or a similar environment. Telecommunications, Connectivity or ISP experience will be highly advantageous. Previous experience supervising or managing a billing or administrative team. Experience within a high-volume billing environment. Strong experience with reconciliations and billing analysis. Experience analysing financial and billing data. Proven ability to resolve supplier billing discrepancies and queries. Apply now!
