SUMMARY:
A young, dynamic, entrepreneurial team leading a boutique Liability Driven Investments (LDI) asset management company. The company manages assets predominantly in the fixed-income space with a niche focus on bespoke portfolio design. The company , established in 2010, has established itself as the leader in its field.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities

Investment Reporting
Risk Management
- Attend monthly Risk and Compliance meetings with Compliance Officer
- Manage compliance-related issues relating to FICA and FAIS
- Report on mandate compliance and any breaches
- POPIA – Information Officer
- Co-ordinate the drafting of investment management agreements and addendums
- Trading Support
  - Set up custodian (scrip and cash) accounts
  - Settle trades (ad-hoc)
  - Manage custodian portal access
  - - Collate due diligence responses to consultants

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience gained in asset management

Actuarial or financial background
Financial markets awareness
Strong reporting skills
Understanding of the regulatory and compliance requirements
