SUMMARY:
Our client, based in Centurion is seeking a driven Technical Quality and Risk Manager to provide support services for clients, directors and staff to ensure and uphold quality standards and effective risk management.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

Qualified Chartered Accountant.
Experience in Report Writing.
Proficient with MS Office.

Minimum 3 - 5 years working experience Post SAICA Articles in the industry.
Essential: Working knowledge of:

IFRS,
SME’s,
JSE Listing requirements,
International auditing standards,
GRAP knowledge.

Main responsibilities:

Training:

Training courses and workshop sessions development.
Staff training.
Training policies and procedures development.
Simulation test marking.

Quality Control:

Reviewing engagement quality controls.
Reviewing internal quality monitors.
Audit opinion appropriateness reviews.
Review compliance with auditing standards.
Quality control standard implementation.

Audit Methodology:

Working paper template development.
Compliance checklists development.
Internal manuals and guide development.
Accounting and legislative guides development.

Consultation and support services:

Perform research on accounting and auditing matters and new standards.
Companies Act legislation application guidance.
Committee meeting attendance.
Perform technical reviews on Annual Financial Statements.

Communication:

Technical directive issue research.
Technical proposals, opinion and report write ups.
Technical staff mentoring.

Additional Information:

High level of independence required.
Operating Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
