My client is a JSE-listed concern operating in the North of Johannesburg and has been in the manufacturing industry for over a century. This culturally diverse company is actively looking for a Risk Specialist to oversee financial risks that could potentially impact the organization. Duties:

Provide subject matter expertise
Prevent wastage, and on an ongoing basis identify process improvements in order to contain and reduce costs
Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own and employee development
Management of risk including identification, analysis and evaluation of risks across the business

Qualifications:

A BCom Degree/Honours in Risk is required
Exposure to ISO standards is essential
Completed CRISC/CISM qualification will be advantageous

Experience:

A minimum of 3 - 5 years' in the field is required
