We are seeking an experienced and proactive Hospital Technical Manager to oversee the planning, maintenance, and development of technical services, including biomedical equipment, building systems, and infrastructure. This is a critical leadership role ensuring our hospital remains safe, compliant, and fully operational to support patient care 24/7.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all hospital technical systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and medical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards (e.g., HTM, JCI, ISO, or local equivalents).
- Lead and supervise multidisciplinary technical teams, contractors, and service providers.
- Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Monitor and manage the hospital’s infrastructure budget, procurement, and technical documentation.
- Participate in hospital projects, refurbishments, and upgrades from a technical and engineering perspective.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison during inspections, audits, and accreditation processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical) or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical management role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of hospital infrastructure, building services, and medical equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with local regulations, international healthcare standards, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
