SUMMARY:
Looking for a qualified Safety Officer with 2–3 years’ experience to ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SHEQ legislation, risk management, and ISO systems, with the ability to train staff, manage incidents, and promote a positive safety culture. A SAMTRAC/SHEMTRAC or NEBOSH qualification and SACPCMP registration are essential.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric).
SAMTRAC / SHEMTRAC or NEBOSH qualification.
SACPCMP registration (mandatory).
Additional safety training (e.g. HIRA, investigations).
2–3 years’ experience in a safety role.

Knowledge & Skills:

Strong understanding of SHEQ legislation, systems, and risk management.
Good communication, attention to detail, and administrative skills.
Ability to promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance at all levels.
