SAICA AUDIT TRAINEE ACCOUNTANT / SENIOR

If you have completed your first year of SAICA, this is the role for you.

The position we are looking to fill is for candidates looking for a training contract with SAICA as part of their progression to becoming a Chartered Accountant at their Cape Town office.

The level of the applicants is that they need to have, at a minimum, completed their first year of SAICA articles. Applicants may still be studying.

Responsibilities include:

• Plan audits with reference to year ends and deadlines
• Manage and train audit trainees
• Supervise others on the job
• Report directly to manager and director
• Report to clients and manage client relationships

Requirements:

• Minimum of having completed their first year of SAICA articles
• Working towards CTA
• MS Office and CaseWare (compulsory)
• Strong communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and management skills

*Salary offered would be defined as market related and would depend on the level of the applicant.

Pre-requisites

*Only candidates with a valid work permit will be considered.
*Having own transport (Drivers Licence and own vehicle) is a condition of employment. *Candidates without their own transport will not be considered as the position requires full mobility between the Western Cape offices (currently in Somerset West) and they would be servicing clients across the Western Cape region.

*Candidates doing CTA through Milpark will not be considered.
