Alberto Prins Auditors, an auditing firm based in Paarl holds an exciting opportunity for driven, highly motivated and passionate career entrants who wish to complete their SAICA Training Programme towards becoming a CA(SA) or AGA(SA).

As a Trainee Accountant your duties will include:

• Preparing financial statements;
• Tax related queries and calculations;
• Performance of external audit and independent review engagements;
• Liaison with clients to answer queries relating to auditing, accounting, tax or secretarial related matters;
• Completion of training contract requirements

Requirements:

• No work experience required, however, practice experience will be advantageous;
• Matric (with accounting as a subject);
• Accounting diploma and/or BCom Accounting Degree will be advantageous;
• Must be bilingual – Afrikaans and English;

Skills:

• Strong computer literacy, especially MS Excel;
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills;
• Excellent analytical skills;
• Strong ethical values
• Ability to work productively under pressure;
• Strong work ethic;
• Able to work in a team environment.
