SAICA Trainee Accountant

SUMMARY:
Seeking a SAICA Trainee Accountant to start immediately in Pretoria East.

POSITION INFO:
A dynamic and growing accounting firm based in Pretoria East is seeking motivated and driven students who are looking to complete their SAICA articles. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about building a career in accounting and gaining practical experience in a professional environment. Candidates must be available to start immediately.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform audit assignments and assist with audit planning
• Prepare working papers and financial statements
• Assist with tax computations and submissions
• Conduct client visits and maintain strong client relationships
• Ensure compliance with SAICA regulations and firm standards
• Work effectively within a team and meet deadlines

• Currently studying towards or completed a SAICA-accredited Degree (e.g. BCom Accounting or equivalent)
• CTA or in the process of completing CTA will be advantageous
• Strong academic record
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Valid driver’s license and own transport will be advantageous
