SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAICA Trainee Accountant who is currently registered for or has completed a Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA). The successful candidate will complete a SAICA training contract while gaining practical exposure to accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial reporting.

POSITION INFO:
Perform audit fieldwork and assist with audit engagements. Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Assist with the preparation and submission of tax returns (Income Tax, VAT, PAYE). Perform accounting and bookkeeping functions for various clients. Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts. Assist with statutory compliance and regulatory requirements. Compile management accounts and financial reports. Liaise with clients regarding financial information and supporting documentation. Maintain accurate working papers and audit files. Ensure compliance with SAICA training regulations and firm procedures.
