We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive SAIPA Accountant to join our dynamic accounting firm. This is an excellent growth opportunity for a motivated professional looking to advance their career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. The ideal candidate will have completed their SAIPA articles and possess strong technical knowledge in accounting, tax, and compliance.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and relevant standards.
Manage monthly bookkeeping and reconciliations for clients.
Handle VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns.
Assist with tax planning and compliance for individuals and businesses.
Liaise with clients to provide professional advice and resolve queries.
Ensure deadlines are met and maintain high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

Completed SAIPA articles and eligible for SAIPA membership.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax legislation.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Xero, Sage).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
