POSITION INFO:

Key responsibilities:

Preparation and compilation of annual financial statements
Manage accounting and bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
Assist with tax compliance, submissions, and SARS-related queries
Support audit and assurance processes where required
Contribute to advisory engagements and client solutions
Utilise modern accounting systems and digital tools
Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards
Build and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications

Grade 12 (Matric)
Completed SAIPA training contract
BCom Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance

Experience:

Experience gained within a small to medium-sized accounting or audit firm
Exposure to financial reporting, tax, and client engagements

Skills and Competencies:

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple client portfolios
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn
Comfortable working both independently and within a team
