Duties:

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management accounts
• Prepare and submit tax returns and support tax compliance processes
• Participate in audit and assurance engagements
• Engage with clients and assist with financial queries and reporting
• Apply accounting, tax, and auditing principles in a practical environment
• Work collaboratively to deliver high-quality client service

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting

• Completed SAIPA articles (preferably at a small to mid-tier firm)
• Relevant BCom degree (SAIPA accredited or close to completion)
• Strong academic track record
• Advanced experience with CaseWare
• Solid understanding of accounting and tax principles
• Ability to work in a client-facing, deadline-driven environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proactive, eager to learn, and self-driven
• Strong technical proficiency in accounting systems and MS Office
