SAP ABAP Developer (DevOps) (3101R)

POSITION INFO:
The Role:

We are looking for an SAP ABAP Developer (DevOps) for a fixed term contract Position with our client based in Midrand and Pretoria.

 

Willing and able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time (Internationally) with a Valid Driverâ??s License.

 

Minimum educational level:

• Diploma or Degree in IT
• ABAP certification
• Project management advantageous

 

We require a minimum 5 yearsâ?? work experience with SD Module.

 

Work required for the manufacturing plant and financial services environments as well as DevOps work for UK Plant Financial environments not on central templates related:

• Projects
• Maintenance Change Requests
• SAP ABAP Developments
• Maintaining and optimising existing systems
• Creation and updating of documents with regards to all system changes

 

SAP Modules in order of preference:

• SD
• FI/CO
• MM
• Authorisations

 

We require the following Strong ABAP Development skills including but not limited to:

• SD modules
• FI/CO modules (Secondary but closely linked Feature focus)
• MM modules
• Customs (Import, export, APDP)
• Strong Agile (AWM) and DevOps experience will be advantageous
• Confluence and JIRA experience will be advantageous
• Coding standards experience, and knowledge will be advantageous
• Procurement
• Supply chain management
• ALV programming
• Interface programming
• SmartForms
• SAP Enhancement Concept
• Database updates
• Function Modules
• Batch programming
• IDOCs
• ABAP OOP
• Advanced Planning and Optimization advantageous
• Trouble shooting and debugging skills
• Solution Manager
