  JOB DESCRIPTION:
  

  The Role:

  We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer (Focus: SAP MM) for a fixed term contract for Pretoria.

   

  Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Functional refinement of requirements (Epics, User Stories) in Material Planning for the European as well as for the Overseas Company's plants (e.g., China)
  • Process design for Material Planning
  • Customizing of the defined Material Planning processes
  • Development of changes or development of new functionality (focus extracting Odata)
  • Developer support for implementation new enhancements (User stories)
  • Testing in eWM (manual as well as automated, CBTA or Tosca)
  • Support Business Object definition and extraction

   

  Qualifications and Experience needed he role:

  • Masterâ??s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field or similar qualification.
  • 8 yearsâ?? experience as a MM consultant
  • 8 yearsâ?? experience developing in ABAP
  • 5 yearsâ?? experience developing in SAP logistics (MM, SD)

  Skills and Experience:

  Essential Skills Requirements:

  • At least 8 yearsâ?? experience in Material Management, focus Material Planning (Call off)
  • At least 5 yearsâ?? experience in ABAP Development (Backend and Frontend)
  • At least 3 yearsâ?? experience in ABAP Object
  • At least 3 yearsâ?? experience with ABAP Test Workbench
  • At least 3 yearsâ?? experience with ODATA (Idoc)

   

  Advantageous Skills Requirements:

  • Experience with Hana / S4 technology e.g., CDS views (SAP Gateway)
  • SAP UI5 â?? HTML / JavaScript / CSS
  • Agile Framework experience e.g., scrum
  • Good Understanding of Sales and Distribution processes
