SUMMARY:
Gijima Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a client for an a highly experienced SAP Ariba Functional Lead Consultant to join a major enterprise programme on a 12-month contract (with potential extension) based in a hybrid model aligned to BIIS working conditions.

This is not a junior functional or support role, we are looking for a true SAP Ariba delivery lead with hands-on configuration capability and proven team leadership experience.

POSITION INFO:
What this role is REALLY about You will act as a Functional Lead , responsible for: Leading a functional SAP Ariba team Driving end-to-end solution delivery Running design workshops with business stakeholders Translating business requirements into configured Ariba solutions Ensuring successful implementation across procurement processes Important Clarification We are not seeking SAP MM consultants with Ariba exposure , nor integration-only profiles. Candidates must demonstrate: Real Ariba configuration capability Functional ownership of delivery Leadership of functional teams Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable) Functional Lead Experience Proven experience in a SAP Functional Team Lead \/ Lead Consultant capacity Ability to manage work allocation, delivery, and junior consultants Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills End-to-end ownership of functional delivery SAP Ariba Configuration Expertise (Hands-on - not exposure) Must have real configuration experience across key modules: SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing SAP Ariba Sourcing SAP Ariba Contracts Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP) SAP Ariba Guided Buying SAP Ariba Network SAP Ariba integration with SAP ECC \/ S\/4HANA Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) End-to-End Implementation Experience Full lifecycle Ariba implementations (Design → Build → Test → Deploy → Support) Procurement or Source-to-Pay transformation experience SAP Certification (Preferred but strongly advantageous) SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Ariba Procurement SAP Ariba Sourcing \/ Contracts certifications Other relevant SAP Ariba Cloud certifications
