SAP BI & BW Technical Specialist (Project)

POSITION INFO:
The Role:

We are looking for a SAP BI BW Technical Specialist for a 12-month fixed term contract Position with our client based in Centurion/Pretoria.

 

Willing and able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time (Internationally) with a Valid Driverâ??s Licence.

 

We require a minimum 10 yearsâ?? SAP BW work experience in:

• SAP BWonHANA development experience is essential
• SAP ABAP competence is essential
• SAP BO (AFO) knowledge
• SAP HANA (XS-C, XS-A) knowledge
• SAP BW4/HANA will be beneficial
• SAP Analytics Cloud will be beneficial
• Any experience in AWS would be welcomed

 

Minimum educational level:

• Degree in IT 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Investigate, Understand and Document functionalities and technologies in:
  • BW4/HANA on AWS
  • SAP Analytics Cloud
  • HANA(XS-C XS-A Developments)
  • SAP Data Intelligence
  • All other related Technologies and Products
• Create Concepts/Proposals/Designs and Guidelines based on internal requirements guidelines ex:
  • Technical Design Documents
  • Functional Design Documents
  • Authorization Concepts
  • Developer Guidelines
  • How To Documents
  • Operational Processes
  • System Monitoring Guidelines
  • Performance Monitoring Concepts
• Provide 2de and 3de level support for current and new technologies, ex. BWonHANA, BW4/HANA, HANA, Analysis for Office, etc.
• Provide inputs and assist in developing for ex.
• Monitoring Cockpits used to Monitor Systems from overview to performance tracking in real time
• Collaborate with fellow colleagues across multiple sites/locations
• Configure and deliver SAP based solutions including documentation, processes and guidelines as required by the Project
