SAP Consultant - SAP GTS Functional Consultant (1327)

POSITION INFO:
The Role:

We are looking for an SAP Consultant - SAP GTS Functional Consultant for a 12-month fixed term contract Position with our client based in Centurion/Pretoria.

 

Willing and able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time (Internationally) with a Valid Driverâ??s License.

 

Minimum educational level:

• Degree in IT or relevant experience

 

We require a minimum 3 to 5 yearsâ?? work experience in:

• SAP GTS
• Apply knowledge in SAP functions (advantageous)
• SD MM knowledge (advantageous)
• Knowledge in customs processes (advantageous)
• Debugging advantageous
• Minimum 5-8 years IT working experience
• 3-4 Yearsâ?? experience in Application Operations and Support Services
• ITIL process knowledge and work experience
• ITIL certification (advantageous)
• Specific knowledge advantageous (ITPM, HP ALM, Jira and Confluence)
• German communication capabilities (advantageous)

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attend and actively participate in hand-over meetings to convert business requirements into concepts
• Review project related documentation to determine system functionality
• Assure quality and responsibility in system support
• Functional Operation of SAP GTS application, including 2nd level and 3rd level support, maintenance and administration
• Assures control and maintenance for Operations and liaises with the responsible people for maintenance
• Deliver services within the agreed targets by using the prescribed standards and tools
