Role Overview Position: Senior Administrator Location: Johannesburg (Office-Based, Open-Plan Environment) Reporting To: Administration Team Lead \/ Advisor Support Function Employment Type: Permanent Position Purpose The Senior Administrator plays a critical role in supporting our Financial Advisors and Paraplanners. This position is responsible for the end-to-end execution of financial and investment administration functions. We are looking for a dedicated professional who views administration as a long-term, rewarding career path and wishes to grow deep expertise within our operational structures. Key Responsibilities Investment & Wealth Administration: Efficiently process investment applications, portfolios, and maintenance requests. Transaction Processing: Oversee and execute client withdrawals, switches, and fund transfers accurately and timeously. Retirement Administration: Manage retirement-related administration, including processing maturities, retirements from retirement annuities, and preservation funds. Advisor Support: Provide comprehensive, high-level administrative support to Financial Advisors and Paraplanners to ensure a seamless client onboarding and retention process. Compliance & Data Integrity: Ensure all documentation complies with relevant financial regulations (FICA\/FAIS) and maintain flawless digital and physical records. Qualifications, Experience & Skills Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of solid administration experience strictly within a Financial Advisory (FA) or Wealth Management environment. Deep understanding of the investment industry and various financial products\/platforms is essential. Qualifications: A formal degree is not required; proven capability, industry experience, and hands-on product knowledge are highly valued. Key Competencies: Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy in processing financial data and legal documentation. Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment. Career Focus: A genuine passion for administration, with no immediate desire to transition into an advisory or paraplanning role.
