Company and Job Description:
A reputable educational institution is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Financial Administrator to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideally suited to a finance professional with strong debtors management and collections experience, who excels in a structured environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service while fostering positive stakeholder relationships. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, optimizing collections processes, and supporting the institution's overall financial objectives.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Debtors & Credit Management Oversee the end-to-end debtors process, ensuring outstanding accounts are effectively managed and collections are completed within agreed timeframes. Maintain accurate student account information and regularly review ageing balances. Drive debt recovery initiatives through proactive follow-ups and collection procedures. Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders while resolving account-related queries. Generate and present debtor status reports to management, highlighting risks and collection progress. Finance Administration Support the administration of accounts payable and fixed assets. Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure the accuracy of financial information. Assist with month-end close activities and the preparation of financial reports. Adhere to established financial controls, policies, and procedures. Partner with the finance team to ensure the efficient execution of daily financial operations and departmental objectives. Job Experience and Skills Required: Completed Matric with a qualification in Bookkeeping, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3 - 5 years' experience in debtors, credit control, or accounts receivable. Previous experience within a school or educational environment will be highly advantageous. Strong working knowledge of accounting systems, preferably SAGE 300 (Accpac) . Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with SAP will be advantageous. Let's connect!
