SUMMARY:
Are you an experienced Financial Accountant ready to step into a senior-level role where you can take ownership of the finance function and add value to a growing business?
An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Financial Accountant based in Bryanston. The successful candidate will have strong technical accounting capabilities, advanced Excel skills and a solid understanding of South African VAT legislation. Exposure to foreign exchange transactions will be advantageous.

POSITION INFO:
Duties: Full financial accounting function Preparation of monthly management accounts Month-end and year-end reporting General ledger management and reconciliations Balance sheet reconciliations Financial reporting and analysis VAT calculations, reconciliations and submissions Ensure compliance with South African VAT legislation Cash flow and bank reconciliations Accounts payable and accounts receivable oversight Assist with budgeting and forecasting Fixed asset management Audit preparation and liaison with auditors Foreign currency and forex-related transactions Maintain strong internal financial controls Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting Job Experience & Skills Required: B.Com degree 5+ years' relevant financial accounting experience Strong knowledge of South African VAT legislation Advanced Excel skills - essential Forex exposure will be advantageous SAP Business One experience will be beneficial Strong technical accounting knowledge Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail Ability to take ownership and work independently Apply now!
