SENIOR FINANCIAL REPORTING ACCOUNTANT | PRIVATE EQUITY Claremont\/Newlands, Cape Town Competitive package on offer! An exciting opportunity for a CA(SA) with approximately 5 years' post-qualification experience to join our Client who is a well-established investment firm focused on sustainable infrastructure and climate finance across Africa, with a particular focus on renewable energy. This is a hands-on role within a sophisticated investment environment, offering exposure to fund administration, fund management, private equity, multiple African jurisdictions and international stakeholders . Working closely with the Head of Finance, investment professionals, fund administrators, auditors and investors, you will play an important role in ensuring strong financial reporting, governance and effective fund operations. You will join a collaborative, entrepreneurial and high-performance team within an organisation with a genuine purpose and a strong focus on sustainable investment across Africa. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review IFRS-compliant financial statements and management reports. Support investor, audit and regulatory reporting. Maintain strong financial controls and governance across Group and fund structures. Support fund accounting activities, including capital events, cash flow and treasury. Support tax, legal and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Partner with investment and operational teams on financial and fund-related matters. Contribute to finance systems improvements, process optimisation and best-practice reporting. Qualification, skills and experience required: CA(SA) qualification . Approximately 5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) or close. Experience within Fund Administration and\/or Fund Management . Private Equity experience would be advantageous. Strong IFRS and financial reporting knowledge. Experience managing audits and working with external stakeholders. Strong Excel and financial systems capability. Excellent attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving skills. A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Location: Candidates should be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Claremont and able to travel to the office with ease.
