SENIOR FINANCIAL REPORTING ACCOUNTANT | PRIVATE EQUITY CA(SA) | ~5 Years PQE | Claremont\/Newlands, Cape Town Competitive package on offer! Looking for a role where your financial reporting expertise meets investment, private equity and purpose-driven finance? This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established African investment firm focused on sustainable infrastructure and climate finance, with a strong focus on renewable energy. You will be joining a sophisticated investment environment where you will gain exposure to: - Investment structures across Africa - Fund administration & fund management - Private equity & investment operations - International investors & stakeholders - IFRS, governance & financial reporting - Renewable energy & sustainable infrastructure As a key member of the finance team, you will work closely with the Head of Finance, investment professionals, fund administrators, auditors and investors to ensure high-quality reporting and effective fund operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Preparing and reviewing IFRS-compliant financial statements - Investor, audit and regulatory reporting - Financial controls and governance across group and fund structures - Fund accounting, capital events, cash flow and treasury - Tax, legal and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions - Partnering with investment and operational teams - Improving finance systems, processes and reporting We are looking for: - CA(SA) - Approximately 5 years' post-qualification experience - Fund Administration and\/or Fund Management experience - Private Equity experience advantageous - Strong IFRS & financial reporting knowledge - Audit and external stakeholder experience - Strong Excel & financial systems capability - Hands-on, proactive and commercially aware This opportunity would suit a CA(SA) who wants to go beyond traditional financial reporting and build deeper expertise across funds, investment structures, private equity and sustainable finance across Africa.
