SUMMARY:
Our client that is based in Kempton Park, Gauteng with operations in the mining sector has a vacancy for a suitably qualified SHEQ Integrated Management System Coordinator.

POSITION INFO:
Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide oversight and guidance for assigned Integrated Management Systems (Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality) and compliance activities across the group operations.
Systems Development & Implementation
Internal and external Audits
Supply Chain Excellence
Information and Data management
Provide Team Leadership
Effective Teamwork & Self-Management

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred, or equivalent education and work experience
Relevant SHEQ qualification
Five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Sound knowledge of: OHSA; COIDA; applicable SANS standards; ISO 45001; ISO 9001 and 14001 Management Systems.
Experience in management systems (change management, deviation, and risk management) processes
Possess working knowledge of Operational Excellence and Lean Six Sigma tools
Must have a strong technical writing skill set and be able to critically review documents while effectively inputting and expressing management system principles.
