Qualification

Matric
Bachelor's Degree would be an advantage

Requirements

Experience in Health, Safety and Quality including inspection and testing throughout the manufacturing process. This includes the full spectrum of managing, monitoring and evaluation of the integrated management system of the company
Quality ISO 9000:2015
Maintain ISO 9001 certification
HACCP Food Packaging
Health and Safety SAMTRAC
Experience from plastic manufacturing industry would be ideal

Duties

Report to top management on the performance of the Quality management system, and any need for improvement.
Design the processes that make up the quality management system.
Generating and amending documents for inclusion in the documented system.
Communicating with customers and other interested parties on quality related issues.
Monitoring the effectiveness of corrective and preventative actions taken, and signs off applicable documents once satisfied. This includes re-evaluation of action already taken.
Investigate product placed on hold, and deciding upon its disposition in conjunction with the departmental manager on a daily basis.
Ensure the promotion and awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
Ensure the effective and efficient operation and continual improvement of the quality management system, by conducting regular internal audits according to the pre-approved schedule.
Conduct management review meetings.
Ensure that all production materials, intermediate products and finished products have been tested, inspected and approved for downstream production or release to the market.
Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the company integrated management system.
Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct manager.
