SUMMARY:
SHEQ Officer needed to ensure continued compliance and accreditation of all EHS legal requirements

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

Matric
Health and Safety Certification(s)
Diploma in Safety Management (advantageous).

Requirements

5 Years working experience in a similar role
SHEQ background in a foundry or manufacturing
ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018

Duties

Manage the SHEQ Committee and training program
SHEQ Management System implementation and updates
Promote SHEQ awareness
Ensure contractor compliance
Health, Safety, Environment and Security training.
Ensure the implementation of Permit-To-Work system
Develop, implement and manage the emergency preparedness procedure.
Emergency system drills
Facilitate the auditing of maintenance contractors, identify possible corrective actions and follow up on corrective actions.
Implement and manage compliance to the hygiene and ergonomics
Incidents and accidents investigation
Document control
Risk assessments.
Update legal appointments
