POSITION INFO: Employer Description Our client is a well-established Built Environment Consultancy firm specializing in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Property Development and EPCM Services. Job Description You will be tasked with: Attend internal, project, and site meetings as required. Conduct site visits and take site measurements. Prepare construction cost estimates and measure building quantities from site inspections and drawings. Prepare Bills of Quantities. Prepare tender documentation for principal and subcontract procurement. Adjudicate tenders and assist with procurement recommendations. Assess, adjudicate, and resolve financial claims. Prepare valuations for interim payment certificates, including cost checking and valuation processes. Assist with the cost management of construction projects. Prepare cost reports. Prepare and conclude final accounts. Understand and prepare predicted cash flows. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Qualifications BSc Property Development \/ BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying or BTech Quantity Surveying. Registered as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with SACQSP. Skills 6-10 years of post-graduate experience in a professional quantity surveying practice and will be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality and excellent customer service standards. Proficiency in WinQS, DimX, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project. Experience working with JBCC, NEC, FIDIC, and GCC building contracts. Experience in public sector procurement.
