Employer Description Our client is an established Professional Quantity Surveying and Project Management firm offering their services to the mining industry. Job Description You will be tasked with: Plan and execute mining & engineering projects from stage 1 to stage 6. Project procurement. Preparing the following documentation: feasibility studies, cost estimates, preliminary budgets, elemental estimates, procurement documents (BOQ production), final accounts, fee proposals for all professionals appointments. Preparing contract documentation, adjudication reports, cost reports and payment progress schedules. Managing complex mining & engineering contracts. Cost control, cash flow projections, valuating construction projects and value engineering. Address budget constraints and complicated logistics to overcome project challenges. Supervise & Mentor Candidate Quantity Surveyors. Qualifications BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying. Professional registration with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP)- NON- NEGOTIABLE. 9 years Post qualification experience in Mining\/ EPCM\/ SMPP- Non negotiable. Skills Skilled in Win QS + Dim X. Mining\/ EPCM\/ SMPP experience. Experienced in Contract Administration & Management. Ability to manage teams. Willing to travel. Benefits Negotiable.
